The hotel project is located in Cikini, Jakarta. The building consists of 14-stories with 5-stories podium. The existing building uses reinforced concrete frames and shear walls as the lateral system. The structural details provided by the as-built drawing from the current building management indicate that the building has been retrofitted before.

ESELKA provides engineering solutions to ensure the safety of the building. The main challenge is to build the finite-element model of the building with the as-built drawings and structural audit data. Then, a number of structural jacketing is applied to strenghten the columns and beams.
